Remember the STIG in ‘Top Gear’ the mystery driver whose identity was a closely kept secret for many years.
Well hivine now has its very own STIG and we may even have a few STIGS.
These will be HIV positive men who are at the moment forced to keep their identity a secret due to – yes, STIGMA.
This column will allow them to express their feelings about living with HIV, about the shock of their initial diagnosis and how they are coping on a day to day basis.
So watch this space – and you never know, one day they may even be able to reveal who they really are.
